History

The Workforce Development Foundation was forged in response to many of our MetroNorth Chamber Members concerned with the shortage of workers in the north metro area. A small group of dedicated members worked together to research how best to address this issue and decided that starting a dedicated Foundation would be most impactful. Through meeting, planning, and hard work, the Foundation became an official 501(c)(3) on August 4, 2015. Articles of Incorporation and by-laws were written. We have a seven-member Board of Directors.
